African Mission Trips
Our 2008 trip was a huge blessing. We were joined with 10 other fabulous world-changing people who made a big difference in the lives of children and adults in Uganda and Kenya. Kady Dunlap, a professional photographer in Texas helped Annette teach photography skills to some of the newest camera recipients in Uganda. You can see some of the story on DarynKagan.com. We also moved the children of Emmanuel Children's Home out of the slums and into a brand new beautiful home with running water and electricity. One of the favorite ammenities according to the kids is the showers and bath tub. We were highly blessed by the faces of these children as we helped move them in on the last day of the trip.
Colin Biggers of H4A and Rex Crain of Divine Effex just returned August 31, 2008 from a very successful trip to Kenya and Uganda. With the help of Pastor Peter Kasirivu of Gaba Community Church, they were able to minister to a million people in Uganda and surrounding countries.
Our next trip will be in January 2009. If you are interested in going or want to send along a laptop computer please let us know. We have graciously been given 40 cameras from the people of EV Free Church in Fullerton, CA and will have plenty of SLRs for our next venture.

This picture was taken in March at a wedding in Uganda. You can see some of the wedding pictures in
Grace Ormonde's Wedding Style Magazine Fall/Winter issue 2007. She featured the story of Alex and Faith Mutagubya from Ggaba, Uganda. Alex is the music director for Mwangaza Children's Choir (shown below). They put on a wonderful performance for Alex and Faith's wedding. Wedding photography is a new business in Kampala, Uganda and is quickly becoming source of income for many people.
